Preliminary Agreement
Before we invest 5–10 hours in a full estimate, we ask for a brief signed agreement. This is not a construction contract — it establishes mutual commitment to the estimation process.

PRELIMINARY AGREEMENT — ESTIMATION & PLANNING

This Preliminary Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Panczak Construction LLC (CSLB #980276, "Contractor") and the property owner identified below ("Client").

1. Purpose. Client authorizes Contractor and its licensed subcontractors to conduct a comprehensive project analysis — including site visits, take-offs, and subcontractor bidding — for the purpose of producing a written estimate. This Agreement does not obligate either party to a construction contract.

2. Scope of Work. Contractor will invest approximately 5–10 hours analyzing the project scope. Any preliminary plans, take-off sheets, or analysis documents remain the property of Panczak Construction LLC until a construction contract is fully executed.

3. No Construction Obligation. Signing this Agreement does not bind Client to hire Contractor. If Client chooses not to proceed, this Agreement terminates with no financial obligation to either party.

4. Client Cooperation. Client agrees to provide reasonable access to the property and supply available documentation in a timely manner.

5. Licensed Subcontractors. All subcontractors hold active CSLB licenses, carry $1,000,000 general liability insurance, and are bonded. A subcontractor reference sheet is provided at project completion.

6. California Compliance. Subject to CA Business and Professions Code §7159 and all applicable consumer protections. Client retains the right to cancel within 3 business days of signing with no financial penalty.

7. Disputes. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, Ventura County jurisdiction.

By signing below, Client confirms they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Preliminary Agreement.
